Daily Drawing 1

Sometimes you just need some Starbucks...

...and a few new sketchbooks.

Apologies to Ginger today. As usual she had to endure another N.C. freakout. Been stressed and creatively constipated, coupled with financial irritations. The No Sale painting sold though, which is nice. The first new largish piece done in Escondido which sold for a decent price always will make my mood better. Also, a trip to Starbucks and Barnes and Noble for some iced vanilla latte and sketchbooks, respectively. I did have to go to Michael's for one of the sketchbooks though. I don't reccomend going in there FOR ANY REASON. The people are always nuts and the store is surprisingly lacking in the most baffling ways. For instance: found a great (cheap and plentiful) set of crowquill nibs. Figured I'd give it a try after many years. Lo and behold, go to get the ink, and THERE'S NOT ONE BOTTLE FOR SALE IN THE WHOLE DAMN STORE. These are the reasons I always forget and go to Michael's when I'm desperate for some art materials. Argh.

Had fun with these Daily Drawings, got a full three of them out tonight! Also been playing with Photoshop. Back to some real work tomorrow. Enjoy.
